Friends of the earth, that well known environmental pressure group, have been nominated under the hypocrisy and stupidity clauses for the "Bull D'Orr" terms of reference.
Making life better for people by inspiring solutions to environmental problems

We thnk that says it all.
Pretty much all economic bases coverd there then. FOE are nominated on the following grounds
- Their support of Industrial Wind Power despite the massive amount of evidence as to how it damages the environment to little or no gain. Industrial Wind Power provides no solution to any environmental problems. This is gross hypocrisy as it goes directly againt their slogan.
- Their support of Wind Power despite the fact that the it does not make life better for any creature or person, except the energy fat-cats fleeching everybody by using our better natures.
- For being so bloddy stupid as to think Industrial Wind Power actually works.
- Getting into bed with the Devil. They display massive two-facededness by being funded by the EU to the tune of £500,00, major supporters of Industrial wind power. Funny, this is from and organisation supporting the "PlanningDiaster.co.uk" umbrella organisation.
They support doing this to moorland and pet bogs all over the UK. How can they call themselves "Friends of the Earth"
Friends of their own pockets more like! FOE, you digust us.
So, FOE are worthy nominees for the 2007 "Bull D'Orr" award for outstanding wrong-headedness in the field of the Environment.
