The Bull D'Orr Award
The award is unique in it's terms of reference. Winners need to have
demonstrated, through documentary evidence, to the Bull D'Orr panel of
international judges, that they have
"demonstrated the use pre-meditated, sustained and consistant use of extreme bulls shit, hypocrisy and two faced-ness above and beyond the call of duty in the fields of the environment, climate change or conservation. Consideration will also be given to those individuals and organisations who execute complete U-turns as a result of spurious or dubious environmental thinking and who wholeheartedly jump on a popular bandwagon without even a modicom of thought. Or who are just plain selfish or stupid"
Nominations for the 2007 award are still open. Please nominte any organisation, government or individual who has displayed the qualities mentioned in the Bull D'Orr terms of reference. Nominations close on each 1st December, so for the inaugraial 2007 award nominations must be received by 1st December 2007.

Gordon Brown Nominated for Bull D'Orr
Gordon Brown has nominated himself for the Bull D'Orr 2007. The simple fact is he is a complete two-faced moron when it comes to policies for saving the environment.
- He talks about banning plastic bags ( good)...
- But then approves Heathrow exansion. (Idiot)
- His ministers take "anonymous" donations from a property developer illegally ( buying influence?)
- But then presides over the most diasterous planning bill ever proposed, a bill that give all power to big business and silences the local voice.
- He proposes a massive building program of offshore windturbines that are unreliable and cannot be built in teh time scale he proposed.
- He maintains a massive subsidy program for renewable energy that hands over millions to foreign "renweable" energy companies for no discernable reason, and that are actually destroying our environment.
- He keeps us signed up to a fisheries quota system that results in fish being thrown back dead into the sea because they cannot be landed by that boat, whilst other boats from other contries with a quota will come and take further from that species stock.
The list can go on, but thh internet is not bgi enough. Gordon Brown and his Government are nominated under the "Competely stupid and incompetant" rule as well as the "corrupt money grabbinng bastards" rule.
