FirstMistake.org is a group of like minded individuals who care about conservation and the environment. We want to make a differnce so we volunteer to publish conservation stories on this web site.
FirstMistake is and will remain, completely independant. We will only accept donations from individuals or small individually owned businesses. We guard our independance jealously.
There are many different views in conservation and this site relfects these. We take a sceptical view of what Governments and Business would have us believe, as you never can tell whose agenda is being pushed. For example, the climate change science that seems to prevail these days, has been seized upon by the media. The media are not quite so ready to put forward the dissenting views and voices. FirstMistake intends to take a more balanced view.
We need your help to make this site the best, most uptodate and fun conservation site there is. The following articles contain more detail about FirstMMistake, why we are called what we are called, how to contact us and how to get involved.
